A guard forced to let someone in types the duress code. The screen says "Invalid OTP" while admins are alerted silently.

Brute-force lockouts

Repeated wrong passwords or OTP guesses lock out automatically and notify administrators.

Idle sign-out

Shared front-desk PCs sign out after 15 minutes of inactivity, with a warning first.

Role-scoped privacy

Staff only see the visitors they host. ID scans and photos are never public and are role-protected.

Which SMS providers does Visitorsprime work with?

Twilio out of the box, plus any SMS gateway that accepts a simple HTTP request, which covers most Indian bulk-SMS providers. Email works with any SMTP service.

Do we need special hardware at reception?

No. Any computer or tablet with a browser works. Photo capture uses a standard webcam or the device camera.

Can it run on our own server?

Yes. Visitorsprime can be installed on your own server or cloud account, so visitor data stays under your control. The Dextra Technologies team can set it up for you.

What does the duress code actually do?

If a guard is being coerced, they type the duress code instead of a visitor's OTP. Their screen shows an ordinary "Invalid OTP" message while administrators are alerted silently by app, SMS and email.

Who can see a visitor's ID proof?

Only administrators, security staff and the employees who host or booked that visitor. Everyone else is blocked, even if they guess the link.
